Kane Move Managers – Planning, Planning – Team Work!

Kane Consulting successfully relocates CBS TVD – Santa Monica, CA!

The Kane Consulting Move Team (headed by:  Ann Mohr and Kim Ward) worked with CBS TVD in Santa Monica from December 2012 thru end of March 2013 to relocate approximately 200 employees, furniture, computers, file cabinets and work contents to their new offices in Santa Monica.  One of the executives remarked how he had been through many moves but had never seen a corporate move go so smoothly!  CBS references are available for their input on this successful relocation by contacting Kane Consulting at (310) 939-9389.

Engineering Firm Hires Kane for the 3rd Time!

Kennedy/Jenks Consultants hired the Kane Move Management Team (3rd time in 10 years) to relocate their firm of approximately 20 employees in Irvine.  The relocation involved moving private office furniture, all computers, employee desk contents, file cabinets and bookcases.  The move was accomplished over 1 Friday night.  Kennedy/Jenks Office/IT Staff unpacked/reconnected on Saturday and Monday and by Noon on Monday most employees were working away at their desks.  Barbara Kane also oversaw the construction of the space on Kennedy/Jenks behalf.  Hiring Kane Consulting to manage a relocation of any size saves companies money and assures that companies can be up and running the Monday after a move weekend!

IFMA FMCC Meeting – April 3, 2013

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Facilities Management Consultant Council of IFMA (FMCC) had its largest meeting all year at the President’s home – Barbara Jo Kane – Stokes in Redondo Beach, California.  The meeting/party happened during IFMA’s Facility Fusion event at LA Live – JW Marriott this week of April.  The FMCC is one of 17 Councils that IFMA – International Facilities Management Association has that focuses on a core group of Facility Managers.  The FMCC is focused on Facility Managers in their own businesses.  This can be anything from architects, contractors, project managers, move managers, building engineers, real estate brokers, planners, etc.  Anything to do with commercial buildings – these folks help take care of or support commercial properties.   Pictured here are consultants from around the world including “Germany, Mumbi, Phoenix, Washington DC, St. Louis, Nigeria, Seattle, just to mention a few.

Kane Consulting relocates Orange Law Firm – Lawrence Beach Allen & Choi

The Kane Team relocated the law firm of Lawrence Beach Allen & Choi in late February 2013.  Barbara Kane managed the construction of their new space and Kim and Cindy (move managers) handled the management of the move weekend.  Kane also ordered new “artwork” for their lobby to add a fresh feel to the space – another Kane Service – office art work print on demand.  Art is sized specifically for the wall it goes on.  The head attorney for this space quoted “Thank you to you and your team for making our move go so smoothly.  As always, we truly appreciate your guidance throughout the design and planning phases,  as well as your expertise during the logistics of move week.  Once again…a job well done!”  Christina Sprenger .  This is the 3rd time the firm has hired Kane Consulting over the years to Manage their various office relocations.
