Kane Team Moves Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern
The Kane team descended upon the Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern’s (SOWD) offices in Beverly Hills to move them to their new location in West Los Angeles. Kane is partnering with SAW & Associates on this project. “We are delighted to be partnering again with SAW & Associates for the SOWD move. We are a great team and always projects the best image for both our companies” says Kane Consulting President, Barbara Kane.
Law Firm Move to Downtown LA
Kane Consulting’s Lauren Richeson served last week as the main move coordinator for a law firm move from Santa Monica to a building in Downtown LA. The firm was excited about the relocation and was even in the space early discussing design options for their new offices. Lauren provided the law firm with excellent move management services, which allowed them to be back to work in their new space the Monday after their move.
IW Group Move & Project Management
Kane Consulting has been awarded the project management responsibilities for the construction of the new IW Group corporate office in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. Kane represented IW Group in the real estate transaction and will also be coordinating their move from their existing location into their new home. Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in mid to late April. Stay tuned for more updates.

New Headquarters for IW Group
Kane Commercial Real Estate has successfully negotiated a new lease in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles for their longtime client IW Group. Tenant improvements will begin shortly and IW Group is expected to move in to their new headquarters in late winter/early spring 2017. Kane has also negotiated leases for IW Group’s New York and San Francisco offices as well. Kane continues it’s tradition of giving champagne to their clients upon lease signing.
Helping Our Friends Celebrate 70 Years of Success!
Barbara Kane and Jon Stokes attended the 70th Anniversary party of Environetics at Culver City’s Smog Shop last week. Environetics has been a longtime collaborator with Kane Consulting on many of our projects (Ventura Foods Headquarters, Ventura Foods R & D Center, and Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice– to name a few). Established in New York (1946) as Saphier, Lerner & Schindler, the firm changed its name to SLS Environetics in 1959, when the Los Angeles office was established. The event featured cocktails, cupcake bar, dancing, and a look back at their many successful projects. Barb and Jon certainly look like they enjoyed themselves. Congratulations Environetics!
It’s Official… Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice has Moved!
We are so proud and happy to see our clients, Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice enjoying their new space this week in East LA. Kane Consulting was there to help with the real estate deal, through the long construction phase, and right into the physical relocation this past weekend. The relocation went to plan, and LACLJ can continue providing direct legal service to underserved communities of East and Southeast Los Angeles. All the best to them in their new space!
Kane Lends a Helping Hand to the TCW Building’s Newest Tenant
Kane was thrilled to mobilize, organize, and execute the relocation for the TCW building’s new anchor tenant (a prominent law firm specializing in real estate, litigation, labor, tax, and business law). Our own, Kim Ward, established a basecamp for the last several weeks onsite at their old location (just up the street) to make sure that every detail of this complex move was addressed. The move itself took place over 4 long days and involved dozens of movers and techs. Kudos to the teams at Mover Services, Inc. and Innervision Technologies for really going above and beyond expectations. We wish our clients all the best in their new space. Enjoy the views of the LA skyline, Staples Center, Hollywood sign, and those infamous busy LA freeways.
The Whole Kit and Caboodle…
Several of our clients are maximizing the benefits of hiring us for multiple services Kane offers. For example, Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice is using our real estate services to locate and secure a new location; our project management services to ensure the build out of their new space remains on track, and our move management services to coordinate an efficient relocation to that new location. A non-profit legal organization, the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice helps low-income families in the Los Angeles area. We are happy to be guiding them through the relocation process and congratulate them on their new lease. They don’t move until October, but the excitement is already bubbling over, especially since the demo phase of construction just began yesterday.
