Months of planning went into this successful relocation by Kane Consulting. It’s the perfect conclusion into this beautiful space (with a gorgeous library!). This was a large move for Kane, but we came together, worked hard, and are happy because our client is happy. We are excited for what’s coming next and are grateful and proud to all who participated on this move with us.
The Home Depot store in Torrance, CA was extremely generous to Donna’s family during the Woolsey firestorm. They donated three air purifiers, filtration masks and batteries, and even gave Donna a $200 discount towards the purchase of a new washing machine. We thank them (especially Sam, the General Manager) for their kindness and generosity…they are our hometown heros!
Kim Ward, Sr. Move Manager, relocated a client this weekend (Nov. 16 & 17) into their new office in El Segundo. The move included approximately 175 people. Our client prefers that we do not mention their name, but here are a few pics of their new digs! Cool stuff!

San Francisco based Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is preparing for their late October move into their new office in Murrieta, California. Kane Commercial Real Estate assisted them in finding and negotiating the lease for this new office and Kane Consulting is managing the tenant improvements and move from their current office in Temecula. This new office will be the first where a new furniture standard is put in place. “The new office will have a much different feel that other Kennedy/Jenks offices with less offices, modular furniture and a much more open feel” say Barbara Kane. This new standard will be employed in Kennedy/Jenks new offices in both Walnut Creek and Irvine in 2017 and 2018″ says Barbara.
Since move management is one of the primary drivers behind Kane Consulting’s success, Barbara Kane and the Kane team have produced a short marketing video to help explain what move management is all about. “The video helps dramatize in a fun way what move management can do for a company and what can happen if a company tries to do it themselves” says Barbara Kane. The video employs YouTube as the delivery vehicle and is easily accessible to everyone with access to the Internet. “We have gotten some very positive feedback from this video and are considering other marketing videos for project management and commercial real estate” says Barbara. The Kane team tackled three moves in one weekend a couple of weeks ago, the second for Zynx Health. The Zynx Health Group has relocated their office to the Miracle Mile district in Los Angeles and Kane Consulting President, Barbara Kane, and Move Assistant Cindy Hoddick were on site to make sure it all moved smoothly! Their relocation began Thursday evening and the move portion was completed on Friday evening, taking very little time out of the client’s work week. Kane was happy to settle Zynx into their beautiful new office space!
