Months of planning went into this successful relocation by Kane Consulting. It’s the perfect conclusion into this beautiful space (with a gorgeous library!). This was a large move for Kane, but we came together, worked hard, and are happy because our client is happy. We are excited for what’s coming next and are grateful and proud to all who participated on this move with us.
San Francisco based Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is preparing for their late October move into their new office in Murrieta, California. Kane Commercial Real Estate assisted them in finding and negotiating the lease for this new office and Kane Consulting is managing the tenant improvements and move from their current office in Temecula. This new office will be the first where a new furniture standard is put in place. “The new office will have a much different feel that other Kennedy/Jenks offices with less offices, modular furniture and a much more open feel” say Barbara Kane. This new standard will be employed in Kennedy/Jenks new offices in both Walnut Creek and Irvine in 2017 and 2018″ says Barbara.
Kane Consulting has recently helped long term client Kennedy/Jenks Consultants develop a new furniture standard in anticipation of their new offices in both northern and southern California. Working closely with the Kennedy/Jenks staff, Barbara Kane has helped them develop a new and innovative furniture standard that is more open and modern than their previous standards. “As furniture standards change to allow for a more open workplace and to accommodate a shift in greater occupancy, we must stay on top of the industry trends so we can best advise our client” says Barbara. “We are eager to see the new look in Kennedy/Jenks new Murrieta and Walnut Creek offices.”
The third event that occurred during Kane’s packed move weekend just a few weeks back was for the Providence Health & Services branch in Mission Hills. Kane Consulting team member Virginia Howard worked closely with the Providence and BKM Office Furniture groups to create a move plan that allowed the workstations to be cleaned over one weekend! Minimal disruption occurred for Providence! Another successful project!
After the completion of the IW Group LA move, Kane worked with the Beltmann Relocation Group move team to liquidate IW’s old space. The two-day liquidation occurred last week in West Hollywood and Kane’s lead for the week, Lauren Richeson, worked tirelessly to finish the liquidation a day ahead of schedule. Kane would like to extend a thank you to the mover team that worked with Lauren to complete the liquidation project in such a timely manner!
Kane Consulting has successfully completed work for longtime client Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, this time at the firm’s Santa Rosa location. The Kane Team managed minor remodeling work in the office, helped to spec furniture for the space, and oversaw the installation of a new reception area workspace and conference room chairs. Kane thanks the Kennedy/Jenks teams for their continued confidence in our work and for allowing us to assist with real estate deals and management projects around the country!
Kane Consulting just wrapped up a four year remodel of the Ventura Foods corporate headquarters in Brea, California. Kane acted as project manager for the multi-year project and oversaw construction, interior decoration, audio/visual and furniture acquisition and installation for the five-story headquarters. Kane Consulting President Barbara Kane attended the wrap party on November 28th at the Brea facility where Kane was praised for their hard work in completing the complicated project.
A complex schedule of vendors and pre-move activities is well underway for our client in Long Beach. The furniture is arriving and the final touches on the new space are in the works. Window film adds to the overall office aesthetic and adds privacy to conference rooms and offices. Wall graphics brand the space and provide a visual focal point for visitors. As the space nears completion, employees are urged to purge and pack their areas in preparation for this weekend’s move. The finish line is in sight now!
Kane Consulting managed the build-out and just last week the installation of new furniture in Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Inc.’s new office on Maui. Even though the job site was in paradise, we faced the same challenges and even more in getting this project completed successfully. Furniture orders have increased lead times, the product is handled many more times in the process, and just the time difference between the West Coast and Hawaii; all posed challenges for our team to overcome. Thank you to the team of installers with Alexander Brothers Furniture for being such rock-stars and bringing your A game. Thank you too to (neighboring business) Destination Maui for their patience through the sometimes noisy installation process.
Last week Kane Consulting’s Lauren Richeson was in Schaumburg, IL (Chicago) coordinating the installation of furniture for Kennedy/Jenks Consultants’ newly expanded office. The furniture installation team (Installation Specialists, Inc.), GC (Robert Borg Construction), cabling vendor (IMG Technologies), and electrician (Preferred Electric) were all instrumental in completing the install. A special thanks to the team at John Hancock Real Estate (Megan Toledo, Mayna Imperatrice, Brent Jacob, Cheryl Scott, Dan Shapiro and Deborah Hill) for making the acquisition and transition into the new space a breeze. Last but not least, thank you to the team at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for their patience throughout the process. We hope they enjoy their new space for many years to come.
