Kennedy Jenk’s new office in San Diego is currently under construction, but well on it’s way to be completed by their scheduled move date of late August, 2019. Kennedy/Jenks Consultants recently relocated from Temecula to their new office in Murrieta thanks to the Kane Team. Kane Commercial Real Estate found the new location and negotiated the lease and Kane Consulting helped design the new space, managed the project, procured the furniture and managed the move. “Kane Consulting was truly a one stop shop for Kennedy/Jenks”, says Kane President Barbara Kane.
San Francisco based Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is preparing for their late October move into their new office in Murrieta, California. Kane Commercial Real Estate assisted them in finding and negotiating the lease for this new office and Kane Consulting is managing the tenant improvements and move from their current office in Temecula. This new office will be the first where a new furniture standard is put in place. “The new office will have a much different feel that other Kennedy/Jenks offices with less offices, modular furniture and a much more open feel” say Barbara Kane. This new standard will be employed in Kennedy/Jenks new offices in both Walnut Creek and Irvine in 2017 and 2018″ says Barbara.
The Kane Commercial Real Estate team closed three major real estate transactions during the week of July 17th with deals in Walnut Creek, Redondo Beach and Murrieta. The Walnut Creek and Murrieta deals were for new offices for longtime client, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants and the third deal was for a new quick service restaurant for Alejo’s Italian Restaurant. “All three of these deals have been in the works for months and coincidentally all came together within three days of one another” says Senior Vice President Jon Stokes. “We are excited that to be a part of the new office development team with Kennedy/Jenks helping them again to open new offices as we have done either in a real estate or project management capacity in Honolulu, Maui, San Diego, Irvine, Dallas, Boston, Ventura and other locations around the country” say Jon.
“As a long time patron of Alejo’s Presto Trattoria Italian Restaurant in Westchester, California, it was exciting for Kane to be involved in helping Alejo’s find a location for their new quick service concept restaurant in Redondo Beach” say Kane President Barbara Kane. “Their food is fantastic and we are proud to be a part of bringing it and a new business to the South Bay” says Barbara.
Kane Consulting has recently helped long term client Kennedy/Jenks Consultants develop a new furniture standard in anticipation of their new offices in both northern and southern California. Working closely with the Kennedy/Jenks staff, Barbara Kane has helped them develop a new and innovative furniture standard that is more open and modern than their previous standards. “As furniture standards change to allow for a more open workplace and to accommodate a shift in greater occupancy, we must stay on top of the industry trends so we can best advise our client” says Barbara. “We are eager to see the new look in Kennedy/Jenks new Murrieta and Walnut Creek offices.”
Kane longtime clients, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, has enlisted the help of Kane Commercial Real Estate with their new office space search in Walnut Creek, California. Kane President, Barbara Kane, was on location in Northern California for an extensive property tour with members of the Kennedy/Jenks Consultants team, touring a record 12 buildings in 6 hours!! Kane is now working with the client to narrow their search to the top 3.
Kane Consulting has successfully completed work for longtime client Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, this time at the firm’s Santa Rosa location. The Kane Team managed minor remodeling work in the office, helped to spec furniture for the space, and oversaw the installation of a new reception area workspace and conference room chairs. Kane thanks the Kennedy/Jenks teams for their continued confidence in our work and for allowing us to assist with real estate deals and management projects around the country!
Jon Stokes and Kane Commercial Real Estate closed on a new sublease of space in Palo Alto, CA for our client Kennedy/Jenks Consultants. The new tenant is a burgeoning start up company working with prominent automakers to provide cloud application access in new vehicles. Subleases can be tricky spaces to market and it involves finding the right tenant to take over that obligation. We are glad Kennedy/Jenks Consultants and their new tenant were able to make this a win/win situation.
Kane Consulting managed the build-out and just last week the installation of new furniture in Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Inc.’s new office on Maui. Even though the job site was in paradise, we faced the same challenges and even more in getting this project completed successfully. Furniture orders have increased lead times, the product is handled many more times in the process, and just the time difference between the West Coast and Hawaii; all posed challenges for our team to overcome. Thank you to the team of installers with Alexander Brothers Furniture for being such rock-stars and bringing your A game. Thank you too to (neighboring business) Destination Maui for their patience through the sometimes noisy installation process.
